Casting are prepared for subsequent mechanical processes in the deburring area, after leaving the foundry or after the heat treatment.

A wide range of advance machine tools are installed in the turning shop and include:

 

• horizontal and vertical lathes;

• numeric control lathes;

• boring, milling, grinding, slotting and drilling machines.

 

These machines can process rolls and rings up to a maximum diameter of 2.000 mm and a total length of 6.000 mm.
Turning shop personnel conduct processes as per standard processing cycles which include quality controls in all phases and at set intervals.
